Topic: The Songs of Moses
The Songs of Moses are the songs of people who believe in the mightiness of God.
Exodus 14:29 – “The people of Israel walked in the middle of the sea on dry ground, as the water stood up like a wall on both sides.” This is the way God will rescue us all this 2018. He will not allow the counsel of the ungodly to prevail over us.
Exodus 15:1 – “Moses and the people of Israel sang the song to the Lord.” They began to worship and acknowledge God; they understood that if not for God, they would have been dead like the Egyptians. Brethren, if not for God, we are no better than the dead. We are products of God’s mercy.
The reason why we are not victims is because God has not allowed us to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Exodus 15:2 – The Lord is our strength; he has given us victory. This year, we should endeavour to have the heart of worship and thanksgiving. Do not allow any situation to take your focus from God.
There is a key difference between Trials and Temptations:
Temptations come from Satan and he uses them to destroy us, but
Trials come from God, and he uses them to test our faith and to promote us to the next level.
Worship comes from our hearts, and God can identify a good worship; a worship that truly comes from our hearts.
A true worshiper is a person that worships God in his adversity. David was a true worshiper. He never lost a battle because he worshipped God at all times. This is why God said he is a man after his own heart.
This year, let us all be encouraged to worship God, in spirit and truth, and at all times.
