SUNDAY SERVICE SERMON
TEXT: John 9:4; Psalm 90:12; Prov. 6:6-8; Eccl. 3:1-5
The moment we are born into the world, the only thing we have in equal measure is TIME. We are all given equal time of 24hrs. We are all products of 9mths of conception. The skill we have today took time to develop. It is not every talented person that gets to their peak.
There is a difference between raw gold and refined gold. Raw gold is unattractive but when it goes through refine process, it becomes attractive and beautiful. Talent and skill is not enough to work on them.
Gen. 4:1, as long as you fail and refuse to polish the talent in us, we would remain babies. Hours spent in refining gold is what changes raw gold to make them gems.
It is the conversion of time that turns talents into celebrities, entrepreneurs, etc. Conversation of time divides people into social classes and divides countries into developed and under developed countries. Time is value.
Time is a currency that when spent can’t be recovered. Time is the greatest wealth irrespective of your status. It is the coin of your life, don’t let people spend it for you. Time invested turns an illiterate to a scholar. Where we are today is as a result of the time we invested yesterday and our tomorrow is as a result of the time invested today. If you develop your time to learning, you would be knowledgeable.
Don’t blame people for your time wasted. Nothing happens by accident, nobody is better than you. They just use their time wisely. Our success depends on our time. You are a product of how you use your time.
